However, the great solution that I’ve found is to plan routes that give me a taste of nature. Running or walking on a beautiful wooded path beats pounding the pavement and choking on exhaust any day!
One of the central aspects of the Change Anything method is to learn to “love what you hate”. It’s a lot easier to love cardiovascular exercise if you’re surrounding yourself with a lovable environment. There are several helpful sites out there to help you map out a custom running or walking route no matter where you are! An added benefit of these sites is that they can tell you the exact distance of your route. Design your own route and make it part of your Change Plan!
